For the Month of October, we are focusing on the life of St. Francis of Assisi, whose feast day we celebrate on October 4th. For most of us, when we think of St. Francis of Assisi, we think of his love for God's creation! However, he is also a great example of evangelization for us. He heard God's call to "build the Church" and in response, built the Portciuncula. However, God wanted St. Francis to build up the Church by bringing people to Him!
As always, for this storytime, we have prayer, books, music, and crafts. We also have something that we do at home with our kids! This is a great way to continue the conversation at home.
As always, feel free to add or tweak this to fit your group's needs. Bubbles and maracas are always a hit! Also, for the littles, adding in some playtime with puzzles and toys is always an excellent choice too! Let us know how it goes and share what you are doing with your mom's group!
